Part-Time Student Opportunities
CCS is pleased to offer special services and instructional opportunities for families with students in grades K-12 who are seeking part-time enrollment. Many home school families benefit from these services and opportunities. Adherence to CCS policies is expected as outlined in the Parent and Student Handbook. Available staff and space may impact part-time enrollment.
Academic prerequisites must be met prior to enrollment. The fee per student per class is required for a full-year commitment to a one-credit course in high school and middle school. The fees for partial credit courses, electives and elementary classes vary and are determined by the number of times the class meets.
Courses available to middle school and high school students are outlined in the CCS course Description Guide, which may be found on the website under Resources and Prospective Families. The partial credit courses available to part-time students include, but are not limited to the following: physical education (K-12), music (K-8), art (K-8), computer skills (4-8), and Bible (6-12).
Here at Conestoga Christian School, the middle school and high school classes use a modified block schedule. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday our class schedule follows the traditional format of 8 classes, 40 minutes each. On Tuesday, odd numbered classes meet for a double period, each 83 minutes long. On Thursday, even-numbered classes meet for the double period. The school year is divided into three 12 week trimesters.
Full Credit Courses: K-12: $1,715 per class for a full year
Partial Credit Courses: The fees for partial credit courses, electives, and elementary classes vary and are determined by the number of times the class meets. Contact the Admissions Office.
PSAT-9 Assessment: For students in Grade 9 given in March or April: $40
PSAT-10 Assessment: For students in Grade 10 given in March or April: $40
PSAT - Preliminary SAT Assessment: For students in Grade 11 given in October: $40
Achievement Test: For students in Grades 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8 given in March or April: $65
Achievement and Ability Test: For students in Grades 1, 3, 5, and 7 given in March or April: $75
Part-time students may participate in many of our Jr. Cougar activities. These activities are offered at different times throughout the school year. Some of the activities offered may include, but are not limited to, the following: Science Explorers, Art Club, Spanish Club, Elementary Choir and Musical.

Choir, Musical, Drama Fee: Activities Fees Vary: $65 Per Trimester
Students with a part-time enrollment status may participate in sports at the middle school level if all insurance and health criteria are met. Other opportunities exist in our fine arts department. At the middle school level students may sing in our middle school choir or audition for our musical or drama. Those interested should first contact either our Athletic Director or our Music Teacher to see if space is available.

Participation in sports at the High School level is not permitted in the PIAA regulations. Part-time students are encouraged to contact their local school district. Our Fine Arts Department has part-time opportunities available in our Musical or Drama productions. To participate in one of those productions, a part-time student must be enrolled in at least four courses at Conestoga Christian School.

For all extra-curricular activities, at every age level, if staff and space are available, participation priority is given to students who are fully enrolled at CCS; additional consideration is given to those part-time students who have siblings fully enrolled at CCS. An application must be received and participation fee submitted before beginning.
